What happens when it's raining?
Games are not cancelled due to rain. All players, coaches and officials are to attend the fields for all games even in the rain.
In the event of lightning at game start: If after a 15 minute wait there is still lightning in the immediate area, the game can be cancelled by the referee. If there is no lightning, then the game will be played in the rain.
In the event of lightning at any point during game play: The referee will ask all players and coaches to vacate the field for a 15 minute delay to determine if the weather will pass. If after a 15 minute wait there is still lightning in the immediate area, the game can be cancelled by the referee. If there is no lightning, then the game will be played in the rain.
Once the second half is started, if the game is cancelled due to lightning, the game will be considered completed and the score at that time will stand. If the second half is not started and the game is cancelled due to lightning then the game will be considered abandoned. If this occurs the coaches are required to notify the League Coordinator of the abandoned game within 48 hours. They will then make arrangements with the League Coordinator to reschedule the game. Failure to contact the League Coordinator within 48 hours could mean the game is forfeited, with no points awarded.
What equipment is allowed?
Glasses:The only eyewear permitted are prescription glasses. Sports glasses are optional and not mandatory at this time.
Jewelry: is not permitted. This includes earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. All jewelry must be removed before game play. The only exception is medic alert jewelry.
Outdoor Equipment: Outdoor soccer requires that all players must wear current season soccer uniform (PSC issued shirt, shorts and socks) as well as shin pads and soccer cleats for all games and practices. The only exception to this rule is that goal keepers may wear track pants and soft brimmed hats. Cleats are not mandatory for U4 and U6 divisions.
Indoor Season Footwear
No cleats of any type are permitted for the indoor season. Only regulation indoor soft soled shoes and running shoes are permitted.
When is the cut off for refunds?
- There will be no refunds issued for any requests made after the season's start date.
- A full refund will be given only if a child cannot be placed on a team.
- All refunds are subject to a $30.00 administration fee.
I have not heard from my coach yet!
You will be contacted by your coach no later than 2 weeks prior to season start.
Throughout April, we are rostering teams, and running coaches clinics. If you have not heard from your coach within a week prior to season start email email@example.com.
How do I become a referee?
Required age is 12 years old.
Attend the 3 day clinic with a test (TBA prior to the start of season).

Can my child play if I haven't paid?
- Payment must be made in full two weeks prior to the commencement of the season. Players will not be rostered to a team without payments being made in full prior to that date.
- We do not want players to be turned away or stopped from playing as had happened in the past. Lets work together to ensure all kids get to play. If you are interested in donating to the KICK IT FORWARD program please email email@example.com.
Can my child play on a team with another player?
PSC does not allow friend requests as all team rostering is completed with a blind draft to ensure fairness and rotation of coaching and coaching styles. To ensure fairness and tem equality there are no friend or coach requests allowed.
